Winona was new to us, and my husband and I called ourselves “transplants” at first, but it didn’t take long for Winona to start feeling like our new home. We didn’t have to look far to find like-minded people to help us feel welcome. We have nestled in, and we enjoy river life, lake fun, and hiking the hills, and we have even started developing our own sustainable hobby farm. This is an amazing area where within five minutes you can go from the river to the hills to tranquil land. Winona has met our every need and has truly made us feel at home away from home.
